Keep It Clean We All Live Downstream

This 4×5 art panel was part of a community project where I floated the the Jordan River via canoe with a group of 3 students from the Hartland Community Org.
We floated about 3 miles of river through the urban canopy and then discussed the experience afterwards. I came up with a design and had the students assist with painting in the imagery.

The goal was to foster stewardship for the Jordan River and create a sense of community and belonging for this area of the Salt Lake Valley.

The painting was placed by the 1700 S boat ramp on the Jordan River and remained for several years as a commemoration of the project. It has since been replaced with another painted I created for the space.
